Synopsis

Spice company secretary Marcy agrees to marry Dr. Greg, but changes her mind when she learns he wants to specialize in studying tropical diseases rather than go into private practice. She decides to marry Foster, who’s been sent to manage a plantation in India, where Greg is also working. Marcy rejects Greg again because he has no “future.” Foster turns out to be a tyrannical overseer, mistreating the workers; when Greg rescues him from an enraged employee, Marcy sees the error of her ways and marries Greg.
