Synopsis

Office worker Beth saves her money and takes a Caribbean cruise, hoping to find a wealthy husband. Ship’s purser Tony says “there’s a girl like you on every trip.” Beth makes friends with oilman Drake, who is “sort of useless” but rich. However, Drake is married; he and his wife “have an understanding about flings” and he won’t divorce her to marry Beth. Beth plans to commit suicide but Tony stops her: 4 years ago he was looking for a rich wife and failed. Now Tony and Beth will marry.
