The title "War Machine" is printed in gold on the front cover.

This issue came in a sealed polybag along with a 16-page Marvel Action Hour Preview and one of six different Marvel Action Hour acetate prints.

There are five (5) total variants of this issue. One is the standard Direct Edition, in which the title "War Machine" is printed in red on the cover, and with a cover price of 1.50 USD; 2.05 CAD. The other four editions, two Direct Edition and two Newsstand, were originally sealed in polybags along with a "16-page Marvel Action Hour Preview" comic and "1 of 6 different Marvel Action Hour acetate prints." All four have a cover price of 2.95 USD; 4.00 CAD. The only difference between these two Direct Editions, as well as the two Newsstand editions, is that the title "War Machine" is printed in either gold or pink.
