Synopsis

Department store clerk Connie dates fellow employee Gil, but he and her best friend Eve don’t get along. Connie wonders if their antagonism masks attraction and sets them up on a date; Eve falls for Gil. Connie arranges for all three of them to spend time together so she can prove she’s the better match. Gil proposes to her, saying he loved Connie from the first.
