Synopsis
Newspaper columnist Bill loves waitress Mimi but she’s intent on snaring famous singer John Meritt, who has dined in the café where she works. Mimi and John decide to get married, but Bill and John’s former girlfriend Cheryl interrupt the ceremony. When Mimi learns John is going to put his career on hold for several years while he studies opera, and that Cheryl really loves him, she agrees to let John go and decides to marry Bill.
