Synopsis
Connie wants her father to defeat James for a judgeship. She decides to ruin James’s sterling reputation and arranges for a photo to be taken of them kissing. When the scandal hits the newspapers, Connie discovers she really loves James, who has fled to his mountain cabin. Connie goes there with Emily, who loves James, and her father’s campaign manager Jack. Connie gives up James to atone for her actions, and leaves with Jack, who loves her.
