Synopsis

Drifter Bill gets a job in Joe’s diner through the intervention of waitress Annie. Bill says he was double-crossed by a friend after spending two years in Korea, and dropped out of society as a result. Bill dates Annie but is stolen away by Gloria. Bill is suspected of stealing the local plant’s payroll and Gloria dumps him. Annie and Joe stand by Bill and prove his innocence. Bill and Annie reconcile.
