Synopsis

Lorraine has a terrified reaction whenever she sees a man's hand reaching out to her: she can’t explain where her fear comes from but it ruins her relationships. She and Pete fall in love and she remembers her father blaming her for her mother’s death of pneumonia, and then slapping her. Lorraine can now overcome her fear and marry Pete.
