Synopsis

Batman and the Gotham Police break up a gathering of villains and arrest them all. Once in custody, Gordon and Bullock interview the Joker to determine if he played a role in the murder of the Riddler. In flashback, we see the Riddler pursuing a mysterious box and offering to partner with the Joker, but the Joker turns him down.

Collects The Joker Presents: A Puzzlebox (DC, 2021 series) #1-7.

This series was first released digitally in 14 installments of 10 pages each, with Jesus Merino and Vicente Cifuentes providing the art for the framing pages, and the various guest artists providing the art for the pages spotlighting the individual villains. These installments were then expanded into "Director's Cut" versions, with the additional pages featuring art by Merino and Cifuentes. These expanded versions of the stories were then paired into single stories for the first print editions, losing the titles and chapter numbers of each second story, with the credits combined, which accounts for the odd chapter numbering and ambiguous credits. These printed version of the stories were then reprinted in this collected edition.
