Synopsis

Joanie is 18 and yet her mother won’t let her date boys. Joanie and Herb fall in love, but her mother thinks he’s “too old for you” and forbids their relationship. Joanie’s father says he knows his wife’s parents prevented her from marrying her first love: she married him instead, and their marriage has been fine. Joanie's mother withdraws her objections, so Joanie and Herb can now be together.
