Synopsis
Leila is the first woman medical intern at Boone Hospital. She earns the grudging respect of Dr. Stan, and falls in love with him as well. Little abandoned Skip is brought into the hospital for care, and all of the employees rally around to care for him. When Skip is threatened with removal by welfare authorities, Stan and Leila each volunteer to adopt him; they decide to get married to make it easier (and because they love each other).
