Synopsis

Recovering from injuries he suffered due to Romulan treachery, Sisko finds that in his absence the Romulans have convinced the Tzenkethi to ally with them, creating a grave threat to the Alpha Quadrant. Complicating matters is the arrival of the Cardassian fleet who intend to launch a first strike against the Tzenkethi. Meanwhile, Beverly and Scotty making a surprising discovery at the Tzenketh planetary core.
