This publication was the result of a Kickstarter project by Cosmic Lion Productions and MFT Productions, with the permission of Big Bang Comics. There were different tiers available with various extras, such as posters, trading cards, and a Knight Watchman: Creatures of the Knight #0 limited sketch cover. Individual issues could be purchased for $25. Complimentary copies were received by the creators beginning around January 6, 2024. Copies were first reported to be available for sale at Golden Apple Comics in Los Angeles on January 31. Kickstarter backers began reporting the receipt of their copies on February 1. Copies were made available to the general public for $25 through Cosmic Lion Productions' website on February 5.
