Synopsis
Dr. Brey has been experimenting with mutating insects. Quasar and Micron have been summoned by General Travers to investigate the disappearance of residents of Radcliffe. Meanwhile Soviet agents plot to create their own team to fight the Energons.

No publication date on the issue, but it was evidently published between December 1989 and February 1990.
Energons #19 (November 1989) says that "Quasar/Micron #1" is "coming soon."
Quasar and Micron #1 is mentioned in a footnote in Energons #21 to explain why the two characters are absent from that issue's story. Energons #21 doesn't have a publication date, but is copyrighted 1989 inside, and Sherman Burnett has dated #21 as December 1989 in an index of his publications.
Quasar and Micron #1 appears on a list of titles available for sale in Energons #22 (February 1990), meaning that the issue was certainly published by that date.
