Synopsis
Sally’s stricken mother sends her to the expensive Cranmoor finishing school to get her out of their lower-class neighborhood. Sally meets Bob at a dance and falls for him, but when he returns to his own school, she starts spending her evenings in town with a rough bunch, including Nick. When the school administration finds out, they expel her. Over Bob’s objections, Sally runs off with Nick and they begin a life of crime. Nick is killed during a robbery and Sally is sent to prison.
