Synopsis

In the 31st Century, Captain Delacourt Sato and three of his crew become among the few survivors of The Burn, a catastrophic galaxy-wide chain reaction that causes all dilithium to explode, destroying all starships with warp engines that use dilithium as a power source, effectively eliminating warp drive as an option to travel across space. Facing the collapse of the Federation, Delacourt accepts the offer from a female Borg to assist with powering the last Federation starship the USS Omega using transwarp technology, but in exchange, she wants access to a forgotten Federation secret.
