Synopsis
Learning that Julie has become a movie actress, Bruce and Dick head over to the studio to meet with her. However, a series of events leads Bruce to believe something bad is going to happen, which it does, and the Batman must lend a hand to stop a killer known as Clayface.

Facsimile reproduction of Detective Comics (DC, 1937 series) #40 June 1940 issue (first appearance of Clayface), including the cover, story, letter pages and advertisements from the original issue. The interior paper stock is a lightweight newsprint similar to the original issue. Modern DC logo, barcode, and age rating have been added to the back cover.
