Synopsis

On the planet Poilant, Spock, Scotty, and D-6 find a way to remove the ice cover that has trapped the Poilantian, while Christine frees Jinare and her fellow scientists from the Seed. In orbit, Una, who is under the control of the Seed, threatens to take control of the Enterprise, and tries to cause the entire crew to be possessed by the Seed.
