The stories' scripts were updated at some point, sometimes minor, and sometimes major edits. Re-lettering has been applied even to portions of the script that were not updated. There is also some new art and coloring. It is currently unclear whether the updates were made for the Image serializations, Cholly and Flytrap and The Original Adventures of Cholly and Flytrap (Image, 2006 series), or for the Radical Comics collection, Cholly & Flytrap: Center City. Reprint links should be updated once this is determined.

The "Complete" Adventures of Cholly & Flytrap is incomplete. It does not reprint "Dangerous Shadows" from Heavy Metal Special Editions #2 (Fall 1997).
