Synopsis

Helen’s late father was a theatrical newspaper editor, and she grows up in the Broadway world of good times and show biz celebrities. Helen dates Marvin, who owns a small radio shop. They fall in love and marry, but he’s a widower with two young sons and Jane finds it difficult to adjust to being a housewife and stepmother. Jane goes out with some old friends and one of Marvin’s sons falls ill. Jane realizes she has to take her responsibilities seriously and Marvin understands his wife needs a break from time to time.
