Synopsis
Woody awkwardly offers a peace-gesture of a picnic basket full of hay to an annoyed and snorting bull, so that they might be allowed to picnic in the bull's meadow. It remains to be seen how successful an effort this will be.

Cover code: 90062-011. One of several scarce Whitman bagged issues of later 1980. The three comic stories herein were not later reprinted by Western Publishing as some such issues were but, reprinted later by random chance (as opposed to any reasons due to scarcity), by Harvey Comics in Woody Woodpecker (Harvey, 1991 series) #10 (February 1994).
The cover to this issue has not been reprinted anywhere in the USA, and remains exclusive to this scarce comic book.
The Harvey reprint allows collectors and readers to obtain the stories of this rarely offered, premium-priced Whitman comic at a very reasonable price. This is the only such case of later full reprintings (sans cover) of a scarce Whitman issue by a subsequent publisher.
