Synopsis

Harry talks his way into Terry’s house by offering to do chores in exchange for a meal. Terry is impressed with the personable young man, but Harry gets nervous and hides when there’s a knock on the door. The visitor is police detective Jim, who warns Terry about a maniac killer who leaves an “X” at the scene of his crimes. Terry doesn’t expose Harry, but when Jim leaves, Harry reveals himself to be the maniac, complete with an “X” written on a mirror. He pulls a knife and is ready to kill Terry but Jim returns—to ask Terry for a date—and saves her.
