Synopsis

Deb is engaged to Randall, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, but learns he’s going to marry Carol instead. Reporter Jeff pretends to be Deb’s boyfriend so Deb can claim she jilted Randall instead of the other way around. Randall considers changing his mind, but in the end Deb decides to marry Jeff, for real.
