Synopsis

Cookie factory employee Ruby flirts with boss John to improve her status. He offers her the post of personal secretary. She accepts, intending to marry John—a widower—eventually. Ruby dumps her boyfriend, cop Joe. John proposes marriage, which upsets his grown son Bruce, who had rejected Ruby’s advances. However, it was all a scheme to teach Ruby a lesson: John calls Joe, who comes to take a repentant Ruby home.
