This book is made up of remaindered copies of five different St. John books from about 1948. There are two versions known. Version 1 contains Vic Flint #2 (October 1948), Elmo Comics #1 (January 1948), Pageant of Comics #2 (October 1947), Jim Hardy Comics #1 (January 1948), and Comics Revue #1 (June 1947). Version 2 contains Vic Flint #2 (October 1948), Jane Arden #1 (March 1948), Abbie an' Slats #1 (2) (March 1948), Elmo Comics #1 (January 1948), and Comics Revue #5 (January 1948). Interesting side note: The cover teases stories that were in Crime Reporter #3 (October 1948) and Authentic Police Cases #6 (November 1948), but no known copies contain either of those books.
