Synopsis

Jari is pudgy and unattractive; boy next door Steve is “a poor substitute” for a boyfriend. Jari spends six months in New York with her Aunt Margaret, who enrolls her in the “Blueberry Success School.” Jari undergoes a complete makeover and when she gets home, she becomes a social butterfly, rejecting loyal Steve in favor of other dates. Jari falls in love with Kirk but discovers he’s a con man. Steve rescues her and they reconcile.
