Synopsis

Peters is added to the crew of the Starlight at the last moment and his propensity for jocularity annoys the crew, but when they meet a Martian ship and aren't sure how to react, Peters makes jokes to the Martians. This wins the Martians over as they believe anyone with a sense of humour can be trusted.
