Synopsis

Ella is hired by the Hot Griddle Restaurant to flip pancakes in their show window. Her boss Alfredo says she's nearly as good as the "Great Maurice" at the Busy Broadway Cafe. She becomes popular with customers but is lonely. Ella is distracted by a man staring at her intently as she works, loses her skill, and is fired. She discovers Maurice is the man who spooked her. Her antics cause him to be fired as well. They admit they love each other and open a pancake restaurant together.
