Synopsis
While swimming across the lake, Ginny has a cramp. Luckily, Pete Howard was in a rowboat and saved her. He was there to help his grandfather, Pop Gray run the boat dock that summer. They fall in love, but Ginny fears that it is a summer fling and she will never see Pete again until he suggests they elope. Waiting on the dock for Pete, Pop explains to Ginny that Pete has won a scholarship to Tech that he'd lose if he married. The two decide to wait... with patience.
