Synopsis
Mary and Mike travel to the Riviera to promote their film at the Grand Prix film festival. Sexy Oola LaBelle competes with Mary for press coverage because she is desperate to win the Best Actress award. Meanwhile, Mary is more concerned with helping get her fiance, Pete Fletcher, released from his captivity behind the Iron Curtain. This volume reproduces a week's worth of strips every three pages. The dailies are printed three strips to a page. The Sundays (which are reproduced in black-and-white) take up a whole page (equivalent in size to three dailies).
The page counts for the story sequences indexed here are subjective. It was common practice in this series for strips to intersperse panels wrapping up the previous story line with 'tease' panels introducing the new story line. This overlapping of story lines would normally last over a week's worth of strips.
