Synopsis

During the war, a European couple die in a Japanese concentration camp and their daughter is adopted and raised in a geisha house. When the girl's grandfather gets information that his granddaughter is alive, he asks Clark, in Japan on business, to look for her. Clark takes her out of the geisha house and attempts to get her to adjust to life out in the world. After being taught her whole life that men were superior to women, Clark tries to get her to overcome her submissive manner as she falls in love with him.
