Synopsis

Jo loves Tim and knows she'll have to choose between him and her acting career, but doesn't want to give up her dreams just yet. She finally gets a break as an understudy when the star of a play gets laryngitis. A Hollywood director sees her performance and wants to sign her up, but the 'run-of-play' contract she thought she had signed for the understudy role was actually a seven-year contract.
