Synopsis

Anne had saved up for years for a cruise to South America. When her ship put in at Perjita for a few hours, she goes ashore and sees a man who is to be shot at sunrise the next day. Anne recognizes the man as the son of a rich farmer back in the little English village where Anne came from. When Anne learns that he is a hero to the poor people against the harsh dictator, she decides she can't leave him.
