Synopsis

Alma's beauty had made her the best-known model in England, but few realized that she had been born in a back street of a large midland town. Realizing her beauty was outstanding, she had set out to leave behind forever the surroundings and conditions of her birth. The one exception to her desire to forget her past life was her older sister, Marian, who served as her secretary and wardrobe mistress. Alma was used to getting everything she wanted, but Marian becomes conflicted when she realizes Alma wants to marry John for his money.
