Synopsis

Most of the boys of Little Bicker go off to work in the city as soon as they are old enough because there aren't any jobs around there. Ann decides to create a special day in Little Bicker to bring in people from all over the country. She works feverishly to make the new 'Saint Melanie's Day' a success, but when it is over she finds the boy for her had been in Little Bicker all along.
