Spider-Man: Brand New Day #5

Synopsis

Spidey saves Crowne from the monster known as Freak. Spidey tracks Freak down to a local meth lab. Freak is burned up when the meth lab catches fire. When Peter's boss at the DB appears on a local TV show, he finds that Bennett is also a part of the Spidey hating gang. Peter dons his costume and visits JJJ in the hospital to make peace. He accidentally says that Bennett bought the Daily Bugle and changed it to the DB, causing Jonah to have another heart attack. Spidey meets with Doc Connors and discovers that Freak injected himself with some of the good doctor's experimental lab serum.
