Synopsis
Egg delivery man Roger Rogers delivers an egg to Kip & Kelly hatcher, from which hatches a foul-mouthed, string-less wooden puppet. Hooper calls the LBPA (Local Bureau of Puppet Affairs) who add strings to the puppet, then take him off to star in a public access TV show.
Notes
The stories presented in this volume were originally intended to serve as shortened versions of episodes of an animated series on the Christian Learning Network (CLN) that could be published in a promotional kids magazine. The show was to use creatures that hatched from strange-looking eggs (hence the name, Strange Eggs) to teach religious lessons. The project was cancelled by CLN before any animated episodes were aired and before any stories were published.
