Synopsis
During WWII, Bart wrote to Alice and said he’d meet her in a Paris hotel on a certain date in 1946. He was then declared missing, presumed dead. Alice goes to the hotel and meets Bart’s pal Greg, who says Bart is dead. But Bart is alive, and married to someone else – Greg just wanted to spare Alice’s feelings. Greg and Alice will marry each other.
