Synopsis

17-year-old Alice is engaged to the somewhat older Mel, but he has to move away for work purposes. He insists Alice date other men while he’s gone, so she’ll be sure about their love; she reluctantly agrees but vows never to kiss any of them. However, Alice breaks this promise with two different dates and feels ashamed. Mel returns and says what she did was natural; he blames himself for thinking she was ready for marriage. They break up amicably and Alice hopes someday to find true love.
