Xin: Journey of the Monkey King #1

Synopsis

Xin, Sanzen and the General arrive at Sky Tent City where they are graciously welcomed by dashing Captain Tempo and his humble wife Si. The city is attacked by a monster who is after Sanzen but she is able to drive it off with her sacred staff. A banquet is held for the guests where Xin and Tenpo get into a friendly drinking contest. Retiring to her room and feeling embarrassed by her husbands philandering ways, Si is approached by a dark figure who promises to help her with her problems.
