Synopsis
Superman's walk is taking him to the town where Lois went to college. She's already there, preparing for Superman's arrival, when she happens to meet her old boyfriend and his son. He invites her to his home to meet the rest of his family. Lois sees what it's like to have a normal family, and wonders if she is missing something. After she leaves, Superman arrives and assures her that she is needed, and that she keeps him connected to humanity.
Notes
This went on sale two weeks after the solicited date and with different content. "Printed by Quad/Graphics, Montreal, QC, Canada. 10/20/10."
Two covers were done for this issue; this one featuring Superman with a happy family in front of a picket fence, and an alternate one featuring Superman flying over a crowd with Lois taking notes (10 issues for 1 issue mixture).
This issue was originally solicited with the content that ended up in issue 705. The change was announced in a press release dated 2010-09-17.
