Synopsis
College students Carol and Dean fall in love, but Carol comes from a family of coal miners, and Dean’s parents are farmers and dislike miners. Coincidentally, Carol’s family has a poor opinion of farmers. When Carol’s brother Joe is trapped in a cave-in, Dean rescues him from the mine. The two families come together and realise their prejudices were foolish. Carol and Dean can marry in peace.
