Synopsis
Jack Johnson continues to climb the ranks in boxing, profiting from instructions given by Joe Choynski. However, his first marriage dissolves due to his infidelities. In 1908, Johnson defeats Tommy Burns for the title of heavyweight champion of the world, then defends himself against James J. Jeffries when he contests the match. Johnson mostly retires from boxing, but has made enemies and is finally brought down by the Mann Act; Johnson fights Jess Willard in 1915 to pay off his debts, loses, then retires from public life.
