No editing credit in the book. John Freeman credit comes from Wikipedia and Freeman's blog. Dave Hunt is the original editor who solicited the strip, per John Freeman he remained the editor of Battle through approximately September 1979, which would include all the stories in this volume. Lettering was originally "machine lettering" per Freeman; to my eye all the lettering in this volume appears uniform enough that I assume all these episodes were machine lettered. Original printing isn't numbered; 3rd printing has a "I" on spine; unknown whether 2nd printing is numbered.
