Synopsis
Lex finds himself with Death, gazing on his own body (after it was shot in the last issue). She gives him a life review. Lex tries arguing for his life, tries to bribe her, tries to gain her sympathy; but she's heard it all before. She gets his views on the afterlife, and Lex refuses to accept his fate. But he doesn't have to; Death reveals to him that he's not dead, and indeed, he awakens back in his jet, quite alive.

1 in 10 variant. This issue was originally solicited with one cover, but in a press release on 2010-09-28, DC announced that artist P. Craig Russell (illustrator of key issues of THE SANDMAN and THE SANDMAN: DREAM HUNTERS miniseries) had created a variant cover to this issue.
