Synopsis

The story opens in the current timeline where Danielle, who can fly and has superhuman strength, has tracked down Eddie and beats him up to try to get something from him. Then in progressively earlier flashback sequences, we see that Eddie and Danielle had been married, we see how they met in school, and how Eddie befriended a young boy named Francis. After forcing Eddie to promise never to tell anyone, Francis shows Eddie a drug from a secret place in his father's study that allows the user of the drug to fly.
