Synopsis
On the night of her parents' silver wedding anniversary, Tom proposes to Jess and her happiness seems complete. But she has been adopted and the rich American father who deserted her, is now looking for her. When an unscrupulous electrician happens to learn that Jess will be a rich heiress, he tries to use the information to break up her engagement with Tom so he can marry her instead.
