Synopsis
Anita learns that her father has been in prison the last seven years for manslaughter. Her father had been partners with the Drake brothers in a firm of locksmiths and safe-makers. When a night watchman was killed during an attempted burglary, two men were caught who swore that Anita's father had fired the shot. Anita visits her father in prison and he pleads with her to clear his name. Anita gets a job working for Henry Drake in an attempt to find evidence to clear her father, but the situation becomes complicated when she falls in love with Drake's son.
