Synopsis
Val's cousin wants to leave India so Val goes to Kotwal to keep her aunt company there. Val becomes interested in a young British doctor who wants to treat the locals for typhoid. The local holy men are against him and have told the Rajah that Paul is there to stir up political trouble. Paul hopes to change his mind when he and Val are invited to join a tiger-hunting expedition as Claire's friends.
