Synopsis
Clair falls for a newspaperman, but is forced to sing at the Las Vegas nightclub because the owner uses her gambling debts to keep her under his control. Her boss is poisoned, but the new owner knows about her arrangement with the previous owner and demands that she work for him too. Clair doesn't feel she can let Mark know the truth about her predicament.
